Kaden's 4th Birthday Party

We had Kaden's 4th birthday party at The Jumpin' Monkey. I will have to say that it was by far the most eventful birthday that he's had so far, and one that I will definitely never forget. As you can see in the the pictures where they are the the jumping area, he has an outfit and when he's doing his birthday cake, he's been changed into a different outfit. Gotta love the stomach flu, and the birthday boy throwing up at his own party. Poor kid. I felt so bad for him. However, most of the kids didn't even notice. Kaden still had a good time and even though we ended the party a little early before opening presents, I think everyone had fun.

Kaden's B-Day Party at Preschool

Kaden had a mini birthday party in his preschool class on Wednesday. I brought in cupcakes for the class, and he got to wear his birthday crown. The last picture is of Kaden opening birthday presents from Aunt Suzanne, Uncle Donnie and Kyle and Kara. (a little early) Once a box arrives at our door, there's no stopping him!! : )

Sports Class

Kaden has been going to a "sports class" at the Little Gym for a few weeks now. They had a end of the semester night where the parents got to come in and watch some of the things that the kids have learned so far. It was pretty funny. Kaden loves it because he gets to run around like a maniac with other boys. What's not to love?

New Style of Hat

Kaden decided that the leftover from a roll of wrapping paper would make a lovely new hat.

Christmas! Christmas!

Wow! Christmas time was so super busy for us this year. There were so many parties and events and outings that it was hard to keep up! At least it kept Kaden and I busy so that (maybe) it wasn't quite so lonely without Daddy around. : ( During school break we headed to Indiana to stay with Grandma and Papaw Wells for a couple weeks. It was nice to be back there and to be around family. Kaden loved being around everyone, especially his cousins, Kyle and Kara. He'd live with his Aunt Suzanne if I let him!
Kaden and Brutus hanging out on the couch. The holidays wore poor Brutus out!

Kaden was determined to decorate a gingerbread house this year and I kept telling him to wait until we got to Indiana because I just didn't have time to do it here with everything else going on. Grandma to the rescue! She and Kaden decorated his gingerbread house.

Kaden was more than willing to help Grandma make any kind of treats that had to do with chocolate!!

Kaden's Christmas Program

Kaden's Christmas program at his preschool was tonight. He did a really good job. Especially since there were so many kids and so much going on. And he's 3... : )

More Holiday Happenings

We went to the Winter Wonderland with a group of women and their kids on Sat. They had lots of lights to look at, a playground, campfires, and a manger scene with live animals.

Kaden and I made Christmas cookies. I think that he actually managed to get a few of the sprinkles on the cookies instead of the floor...

Christmas Activities

We've had a lot going on lately which is nice since it makes time go by a little faster. : ) We went with our friends Ashlynn and Becky to the parade down at the oceanfront. I took Kaden to a Christmas party at Jamie's command. Kaden got to see Santa and even get an early Christmas present. Of course we got our Christmas tree put and this year we absolutely "had" to have a train to go around the tree.

We went trick or treating with Alyssa and Ashlynn. They got so much candy they had to dump their bucket in the wagon and fill up again! As you can see, Kaden went as a green dragon again this year. I never did convince him to get a different costume for this year. He'll have to next year because it barely fit this second time around.

Scarecrow Day at Preschool

To celebrate Fall, we had Scarecrow Day at preschool. Everyone dressed up as scarecrows and we even made scarecrows.
