County Fair

Last Sunday, we took Kaden to the County fair. They had a petting zoo and pony rides. They had a huge area of just kiddie rides. Kaden had a blast except for one roller coaster which freaked him out a little. I tried to tell Daddy not to put Kaden on it, but what do I know, I just his mother. . . : )

Easter Morning

Egg Hunt-Really This Time

Saturday we had an Easter egg hunt on our base and this time we weren't late for it! Kaden actually got more then two eggs this time!! Of course he would pick an egg up and want to see what was inside of it. I had to keep throwing the eggs in the basket and pulling him along to get more eggs before they were all gone.

Egg Hunt-Kind of. . .

Last Sunday we went to an Easter egg hunt at the Navy base in San Diego, but we got there a couple of minutes after it had started and all 25,000 eggs were already gone. Fortunately a nice lady walking by, stopped and gave Kaden and Viv a few eggs for their baskets. There were some jumpy houses/slides and a bunch of food there, but there were so many people, that we didn't stay too long. We let the kids do a few things and went to the park instead.

Sea World

On Saturday we went to Sea World in San Diego with our friends, Kate, Vinny, Vivienne, and Georgia. We saw the Shamu show which Kaden really loved until we got "Sham Slammed" with water and then he cried. For future reference, if anyone decides to go to a Shamu show and buy a stupid $6 Shamu poncho. Don't. They are worthless when water is coming at you with mach 2 force. We all had a great time though. There's a huge kid's play area that Kaden and Viv would have been happy to spend a week playing at.

Decor

This is why I can't have any "pretties" on my coffee table. I guess that I'll have to settle for something handsome. : )

Spring Cleaning

Kaden decided to help me "swifer" dust/clean his toy room.

Until he realized that there were toys in the room and I lost him. . . Oh well, it was nice while it lasted. : )

Words Women Use

My friend, Sarah, emailed this to me. If men would just memorize this, life would be so much simpler. : )

Words Women Use:

1.) FINE: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

2.) Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five Minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

3.) Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.

4.) Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!

5) Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to #3 for the meaning of nothing.)

6.) That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

7.) Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or Faint. Just say you're welcome.

8.) Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking, "what's wrong", for the woman's response refer to # 3.
