Before we left Indiana, we had an early mini-birthday party for Kaden. Grandma Wells made the cake. Of course Kaden had to play with the car toppers for several days before we were able to get the away from him to use them. For those of you around mom, you'll have to ask her how to spell the word "Birthday." (Love you Mom!! ; )
Kaden thought that digging his fingers into the icing was pretty cool. It's an improvement over his first birthday when he wouldn't even touch his birthday cake. Still didn't have any luck getting him to blow out his candle though.
Aunt Suzanne bought Kaden an electric guitar for his birthday. Daddy was so excited to hear that Kaden has yet another toy that makes noise!!
When we got back to Yuma, Kaden had more Christmas presents waiting for him from his Grandpa and Grandma Ingham.
On Kaden's birthday, I took cupcakes into his preschool for all of his friends to have. He had made a crown that said "I am two!" Plus, I had bought him a button for him to wear that read, "I am two today!" They all sang "Happy Birthday" to him and he clapped for himself.
I made Kaden a birthday cake on his actual birthday and we actually got him to blow out the candles!! We cheered and cheered for him. That being said, we then had to relight and blow them out at least 10 more times before he was satisfied.
Kaden received even more birthday presents from his friends Ashlynn and Alyssa. They got him lots of Dora stuff, which he absolutely loves and Daddy hates. Ha! Ha! And then his friend Viv got to come over from San Diego and they celebrated their birthdays together (her's was on Feb. 12th) at Chuck E Cheese's. Needless to say, he's had more of a birthday month then just a day. And between Christmas and his birthday, our house is starting to look like a daycare! It's ridiculous. What's even worse is that he still gets in my drawers and cabinets and plays with the tupperware and straws!! Go figure!

Hey girl, I can't believe how big Kaden has gotten. He looks so much like Jamie. It goes so fast, doesn't it!! Jon and I went to breakfast with J.D. last Sunday. He looks really good. He is out in Franklin a lot. The snow and temp's here are crazy. I forgot about IN weather. Can't wait to get back to VA Beach. At least in Yuma you don't have to worry about the snow. That is one thing I liked the most about living in FL when Trevor was a baby, no heavy coats. Trevor has been sick a lot. I'm going to take him to a specialist when we get back to the creek. Not much else going on. Enjoying my time here. I'm out every weekend. I don't know if that is a bad thing or a good thing. We are going skiing in West VA next month. Did you ever get over there when you were in VA? Take care, Mindy
